Please consider supporting these students as they go it alone to plan their own Senior Prom.

Almost sounds like the movie Footloose?  A local Charter High School in Wake Forest who we won’t name has decided to cancel the Junior and Senior prom due to COVID-19. The Class of 2021 wants to be able to come together one last time before they all go leave High School. These students have had some very important milestone events taken away from this past year.   No Prom last year, No after school events including sports, No Homecoming and graduation is set to be split into 3 events losing the chance to celebrate their accomplishments together.  The money raised will be going towards the venue, vendors,  and lots of decorations. The left over funds will be donated to one of the following organizations…
– The Boys and Girls Club in Wake Forest
– The Women’s Center located in Raleigh
– Raleigh Rescue Mission
They are aiming to hold prom on May 21st, 2021 at The Sutherland in Wake Forest.

Click Link Here for their GoFundme page for those who would like to help them : https://gofund.me/11dd4fd2

The Class of 2021 thanks you in advance for your help in creating the prom of our dreams!
